THE COLLECTION is a 3CD compilation set different to the COMPLETE SINGLES Collection which is a 2Cd set,I think on the Taragon label originally.
THE COLLECTION series from Columbia includes a Vic Damone set,Jerry Vale,Robert Goulet and others.
It's advertised in The UK on www.play.com but they didn't have a track listing at the moment. Of course, the set will be available at all the usual outlets.
play.com price is around 9 delivered(UK).

Apologies,Ann-I wasn't trying to be all-knowing.
Just spotted it on (our)www.play.com but unfortunately,no track listing.
I'll check with Alan, when he buys it.
Currently,Alan is winging his way Stateside for a two week stay in NYNY to attend a wedding there.

Thanks for the track list-I knew Alan had been trying to track down this release and it seems we mostly missed the heading caption.
It looks as if there are several tracks unique to this collection?
I guess Alan knew what it looked like but hadn't been successful in locating a copy.
www.play.com have it-post free.(in the UK).

Can you help,Ken.
I've checked the tracks on The Collection and located the various albums/CDs where they have previously been released EXCEPT,
Almost Like Being In Love,
Maria,
The Second Time Around.
I'm sure you'll know the answer,
Thanks in advance.

They were include on vinyl compilation "On The Street Where You Live: Vic Damone's Best" (Columbia Harmony HS 11128). Not sure about the release year though.
I do have a question about "Maria", and maybe someone can help me... On the LP and I think on the 3-CD compilation, this is cretided to the Johnny Williams orchestra, but on the "16 Most Requested Songs" compilation CD it's credited to Percy Faith and his Orchestra. Anyone knows which credit if correct?
